Asking Allo to make several changes
One request, one plan you can edit, one approval, and one Undo.
Say what you want in your own words, for example "Put John on the north accounts, Jordan on south, Jack on the city ones". Allo matches the people by name within your company and reads the places from your own data: branches, and the city, state and ZIP code of each account's locations. If a name or a place could mean more than one thing, it asks first and shows how many accounts each choice covers.
When the request makes more than one change, Allo shows a plan: numbered steps, how many accounts each moves and who has them now, the totals, and anything it assumed. Remove a step, uncheck accounts, or move a step to another teammate, then approve once. Nothing changes before you approve, and nothing outside the plan runs.
The plan runs as you, through the same actions as the app's own buttons, with a progress bar. It keeps going if you leave the page; you can pause it and resume it. When it is done, a summary links to what changed and one Undo puts every change back.
- Where
- In any chat with Allo. The plan opens in the panel beside the chat, or as a full-screen sheet on a phone.
- Who
- Everyone can ask; what Allo can change follows your role. Moving accounts between reps is for owners and managers.
