Chats with Allo

Ask Allo, the green button in the sidebar's Allo group, starts a new chat with a few starters built from your own accounts and what your role can do: plan a win-back, import order history, assign accounts, draft check-ins. On Home the chat box is the way in, so the button is not shown there. After the first answer a chat is titled from your own question, never from anything Allo found. Your newest chats and campaigns, pinned chats first, are listed under Recent chats on Home (up to six) and under Recent in the sidebar on every other page (five); All recent lists them all. Chats lists every chat, with the tabs All, Pinned and Shared, a search by title, and Rename, Pin, Share, Archive and Delete. Archive and Delete apply at once with Undo.

While Allo works you see what it is reading, one short step per thing it looked up, such as Reading today's list. Open a step to see the accounts or lines it read. The answer appears as it is written. Stop ends it (Escape does the same), Retry asks the last question again, and Edit, or Up in an empty box, changes your last question and asks again.

When Allo proposes a change, drafts a message or answers with a table, a review panel opens beside the chat (a full-screen sheet on a phone). Nothing changes until you approve it there. Tables sort by any column and export to CSV.

Asking from Home turns the page into the chat: your question shows in the conversation at once and the answer comes in as it is written. A suggested chat or the command palette opens the chat page the same way. In a company on sample data, which keeps no chats, Allo answers in a panel beside the page instead. When Allo names an account, its card sits under the answer: the status, the reason, the 12-month revenue, and Log call, Draft and a menu with Open, the same as on every list. Several accounts show as a short table with the same actions.

Ask Allo about this page, the bar at the foot of every page, opens Allo beside the page you are on, about what is on screen: the account you have open, the product line, or the list with its tab and filters. Open as full chat moves that conversation to its own chat page; nothing is lost.

A chat started from an account or a product line carries that account or line as a reference that Allo reads through your own access. It is never pasted into the question, and if the account stops being yours, Allo stops reading it.

Chats are private. Share one with teammates in your company and they can read it under Shared with me; they cannot ask in it or change it. Long work, such as rerunning detection and Replay, keeps going if you leave the page: the sidebar shows Allo is working with its progress, and a notification says when it is done.
